Today after daddy got home we went to a high school baseball game.  The kids enjoyed it a lot, but not quite like daddy!

Going for a walk

Yesterday we went for a walk as a family, the kids were a little bit tired and this is what they did after 10 min. walk:

Bed Time!

I am so grateful for my husband being the one getting the kids ready for bed every day and for doing it so happily.  Every night after dinner time Stan washes the kids's hands, brushes their teeth, changes their clothes, and  reads to them a few stories (including the Book of Mormon).  He has been doing it for years, since our first child was born.  And today one sister from our ward told me that one Sunday when she  was teaching in Primary, Joseph was in her class and she has brought a picture of Samuel the Lamonite and none of the children knew who he was except Joseph.  And she told me that after class was finished she had a talk with the teacher who that class belong to and the teacher said that Joseph  knows always the answers to her questions, and he knows the Prophets so well.  I was so moved by this comment.  I just feel very grateful for the job that my husband is doing with the kids.
By the way, Joseph's shirt was Stanley's when he was little.  And it says: "Superbuck".  And my husband's middle name is Buck.  So Joseph loves wearing this shirt because he knows it was daddy's once.

Hi Jacob!

Helping out!

I am so proud of my kids!  They are really such a good helpers!  Every day after we say our morning prayer they help me to clean up the house.  First, they make their beds, change their own clothes and start picking up toys or anything else that is not in the right place.  And then, Sarah and Joseph help me with the house chores, like laundry, dusting or putting away the dishes or taking the garbage down stairs or picking up the toys left in the bathroom.  I really think it is worth it,  to take some time each day in teaching them how to organize and clean the house, and I know you gotta be persistent in teaching them so those things will become part of their personality.  I know my kids love having the house clean and organized, and that's a huge blessing.  I keep telling them that our house should be like the Temple, so we can more easily have the Spirit with us.  I don't say that we just clean the house all day long, niether this is the most important  task to do during a day but definitely cleaning the house is a priority in our daily lives.  And I hope my kids are learning through it the value of work.
Joseph and Sarah make their own beds without any help!

So today after we were done making our beds, we started hanging up clothes.  The kids did an amazing job!  Joseph many times has helped me to fold clothes and hang up them but, today I was amazed because I didn't  know Sarah knew how to do it too. My daughter is two and a half years old!  I was so impressed with her!.  I need to give the credit to my husband, he was the one who tought her it!  It's so much easier for all of us when we work together! The work gets done and we all feel happier!  Personally my least favorite shore to do is folding clothes, I love cleaning the house, cooking, washing dishes, washing clothes; but  when it comes to folding clothes, I hate it!  But, today I enjoyed it so much because Sarah was doing it too and Joseph and we were talking and having fun together.  Oh, I love my family so much!!!

I have some pictures of the kids hanging  clothes.  The pictures show step by step how Sarah did it all by herself without anyhelp (Joseph did it too).  They pretty much did all the clothes!  Thank you so much sweeties!

A baby?

I was vacumming my bedroom and I was going to lift up the car seat, but I got scared because I saw a baby in there and he didn't look like my Jacob, but.....it was Sara's doll!

The best family activity!

Do you  know what? I just was thinking of all those family activities that you plan so carefully so they go well and the whole purpose by doing them is so you and your children and spouse feel closer to each other and loved and happy but, there is one activity so great for the family, I mean it really does help your family so much to grow and improve and money is not required and you don't need to go that far and, no other activity brings you so much better results that watching a general conference together as a family!. I just feel so good inside of me after hearing the words of modern Prophets and Apostles.  We are truly bless for having a living Prophet like in old time.Watching  General Conference -even if you have little children-, it is a great family activity!.  President Monson is our true Prophet and I know he has been choosen by God and all the Apostles are truly men of God and I want my children to know that and what a great thing is to feel the Holy Spirit together as a family by listening to them.  Wow, it is incredible that after this "family activity" everyone in my family wants to be better!, more kind and compassionate and obedient!  I truly believe that  no other family activity will help your family as much as this one does.
